Location: Sandy Point Road, North Caicos

If you go: There isn’t much in the way of things to do here, but Cottage Pond is worth a quick stop to see what a blue hole looks like. Surrounded by lush greenery and wading birds, nature lovers will delight in the scenery, if nothing else.

Fun fact: For years, the depth of Cottage Pond was a mystery — until 2001, when the Caicos Cave Project scuba diving team finally reached the bottom.
