Location: The north coast between Sandy Point and Whitby, North Caicos

If you go: The area of Three Mary Cays is a hidden gem. From the main road leaving Sandy Point Marina, you’ll make a left onto an unmarked dirt road. After about two miles, you’ll see a small hand-painted sign on the left that points you to the cays. Bring towels and some snacks — you could easily spend a few hours here admiring the scenery.

Tip: Bring snorkel gear to check out small patches of coral and fish around the cays. Three Mary Cays is the best area for snorkeling on North Caicos. Check the weather before planning to snorkel — if it’s particularly windy, underwater visibility can be poor.
